Who We Are
More than a ministry — a family.
The BCM at Dyersburg State exists to reach college students with the gospel, root them in community, and send them out to change the world.
OUR MISSION
Why We Exist
The Baptist Collegiate Ministry at Dyersburg State Community College is a campus ministry affiliated with the Tennessee Baptist Mission Board and a ministry of the Dyer Baptist Association. We exist to make disciples of Jesus Christ among the students, faculty, and staff of DSCC.
We believe college is one of the most formative seasons of a person's life — and we want to walk alongside students through it. Whether you grew up in church or have never opened a Bible, there is a place for you here.
WHAT WE BELIEVE
Our Core Values
Scripture
We believe the Bible is the inspired, authoritative Word of God and the foundation for all we do.
Community
We are better together. Real relationships built on honesty, grace, and shared purpose are at the heart of BCM.
Mission
We are called to go — to our campus, our city, and the ends of the earth with the good news of Jesus.
Discipleship
We invest in people for the long haul — studying Scripture, praying together, and growing in Christlikeness.
